THRASH Mask

Description

Most of you are familiar with my Deviant Icon. I did it on MS Paint years ago on an old DELL.

The Thrash face has been pretty synonymous with my art ever since; I find myself scribbling the guy down everywhere. It wasn't until I put in on my folder cover for one of my show scripts that I redid it with a bit of detail.

I decided to finally give a real-world 3-dimensional form to the guy.

Starting with a casting of my face I built up some sculpting clay and used buckram to make the mask - this mask will fit only my face alone. I hand painted it with simple black and white acrylics.

Thrash is the core, the pulse beneath the creativity, the tone, the artistic extension.

This is amazing! As always you have a knack for applying drawing to the real world. This has great detail to it. So I am ASSuming you used the clay mold we all made for costuming years back, or you made another reference?
